Abbott, deceased, and which was conveyed to the said Wil-
liam H. Abbott by deed of Orson D. Foulks and wife, bear-
ing date of July 2, 1877, and recorded among the Land Rec-
ords of said Cecil county in Liber A. W. M. No. 7, folio 112.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the right is hereby granted to the said Charles Yar-
nall Abbott, his heirs and assigns, to construct and maintain a
pier and wharf from and on the front of the aforesaid lot of
land into the Elk River, Cecil county, Maryland, to and for a
distance not exceeding one thousand feet, but not to enter or
cross the channel of said river.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 485.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments section 116E,
Chapter 459 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Mary-
land 1904, entitled "Prince George's County," sub-title
"Treasurer."
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That section 116E of Chapter 459 of the Acts of 1904, be
and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted to read as fol-
lows:
SEC. 116E. The treasurer of Prince George's county shall
receive in full compensation for the discharge of his official
duties as collector of taxes levied for county purposes the sum
of two thousand dollars for each year of his term of office, which
shall be payable one-fourth on the first day of July, one-fourth
on the first day of October, one-fourth on the first day of Janu-
ary of each fiscal year and the remaining one-fourth upon final
settlement of said fiscal year by the treasurer with the County
Commissioners of Prince George's county; and shall receive a
commission of three and one-half per cent, on all taxes collected
by him for the State of Maryland.
SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this act shall take effect upon
the first day of April, 1916.
