PHILLIPS LEE GOLDSBOROUGH, ESQ., GOVERNOR. 565

SEC. 2. The boundaries of said town shall be as follows:
Beginning at the northernmost corner of the corporation of
Mount Rainier,, which is at the intersection of Thirty-fourth
and Grape streets, and running thence in a northeasterly direc-
tion along the southeastern line of Kline's farm, three-sixteenth
mile (more or less) to an intersection with the northwest
branch of the Anacostia River; and continuing thence in a
southeasterly general direction along said stream one-fourth
mile (more or less) to the intersection with the southeastern
line of Czarra's Subdivision; and continuing thence in a south-
westerly general direction along Wayer's Mill Race one-fourth
mile (more or less) to Oak street, and continuing thence in a
southeasterly direction one hundred and fifty feet (more or
less) to John street, and continuing thence in a southeasterly
direction along the middle line of said street three-eighths
mile (more or less) to an intersection with the southeastern
line of the right of way of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad;
and continuing thence in a southwesterly direction along said
line of right of way three-fourth mile (more or less) to the
easternmost corner of the corporation of Mount Rainier and
the boundary line of the McCullough Homestead, and continu-
ing thence in a northerly direction along said corporation line
one-fourth mile (more or less) to the middle line of Bunker
Hill road, and continuing thence along said line to the western
boundary line of the Keenan Homestead, and continuing thence
in a northerly direction along said line one-eighth mile (more
or less) to the southern boundary of the Brentwood Subdivision,
and continuing thence in a westerly direction along said line
three-sixteenths mile (more or less) to Cedar lane; and con-
tinuing thence in a northerly direction along said line and line
of Mount Rainier corporation one-eighths mile (more or less)
to the middle line of Dewey street; and continuing thence in a
westerly direction along said line one hundred and fifty feet
(more or less) to Thirty-fourth street, and continuing thence in
a northerly direction along said street three-eighths mile (more
or less) to the northernmost corner of the corporation of Mount
Rainier at the place of beginning, inclosing an a'rea of 400
acres (more or less).

SEC. 3. Said town shall be divided into four wards as fol-
lows :

First Ward—Northwest of middle line of Baltimore and
Ohio Railroad, bounded by same; middle line of John street,
middle line of Highland Avenue Electric Railway and by west-
ern limits of the town.
