CHAPTER 295.
|
 
|
AN ACT to provide for the appointment of counsel
|
 
|
to represent the State, in the matter of the arbi-
|
 
|
tration proposed to be had on the boundary line,.
|
 
|
between Maryland and Virginia, and to appropri-
|
 
|
ate a sum of money to pay the expenses of such
|
 
|
arbitration.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
counsel
|
Maryland, That the Governor be and he is hereby au-
|
 
|
thorized and requested to appoint one or more
|
 
|
counsel to represent the State, in the matter of the
|
 
|
arbitration proposed to be had for the settlement of
|
 
|
the boundary line between the States of Virginia and
|
 
|
Maryland, their compensation and the State's pro-
|
 
|
portion of the compensation of the referees and um-
|
 
|
pire to be hereafter provided for by law.

|
SEC. 2. And. be it enacted, That the State's propor-
