Resolution in favor of John Taylor.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore, be, artel he is hereby
authorised and required to pay, to John Taylor, of Anne
Arundel county, or to his order in quarter yearly payments
a sum of money equal to the half pay of a private, in con-
sideration of the services rendered by him during the iev-
olutionary war.

Resolution in favor of Mary Smith, of the District of Co-
lumbia.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore, be, and he is hereby
authorised and required to pay to Mary Smith, (widow of
Captain Charles Smith,) of the District of Columbia, or to
her order during life, in quarter yearly payments, a sum of
money equal to the half pay of a Captain, in consideration
of the services rendered by her husband during the revolu-
tionary war.

Preamble and resolution relative to a suit now pending in
Baltimore county court between John Cockey and Lar-

WHEREAS, it is represented to the General Assembly of
Maryland by John Cockey, of Frederick county, that there
is an ejectment suit now pending in Baltimore county court
between him, the said John Cockey and Larkin H. Smith
