CHAPTER 277.

Passed Mar. 14,1834

A supplement to the act, entitled, an act, to incorporate The
Annapolis Savings Fund, passed at December session,
eighteen hundred and thirty two, chapter thirty.

Proceeding confir-
med

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the proceedings of the President and Di-
rectors of the Annapolis Savings Fond, are hereby eon-
firmed, and declared to bo valid; although the said Presi-
dent and Directors, have not made and declared dividends
of the profits of the said corporation, nor appointed per-
sons to investigate the affairs thereof, as required by the
act passed at December session, eighteen hundred thirty
two, chapter thirty, and that the failure so to comply there-
with, shall not operate to impair the said act of incorpora-
tion, or any of the rights which would have been acquired
thereunder, if no such failure had taken place.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That in the month of May
next, and only once a year, annually thereafter, shall it be
required to appoint persons to investigate the affairs of
the said corporation, and make report thereof as is requir-
ed by the said act of incorporation.

Dividends

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That on the first Monday of
May next, and only once a year thereafter, shall it be re-
quired to make and declare dividends of the profits of the
said corporation, according to the provisions of the said
act of assembly, unless the said president and directors
shall deem it expedient oftener so to do.

Repeal

Sec. 4. And be it enacted, That all the provisions of the
act of assembly aforesaid, so far as the same are incon-
sistent with the provisions of this act, be and the same are
hereby repealed.
