(5)  Nomination and election by ballot of the Vice
President of the United States of America.
(6)  Preparing three certificates one to be mailed at
Annapolis to the presiding officer of the United
States Senate, one to be delivered by member of
College to the United States Judge for the District
of Maryland, in Baltimore City and one to be delivered
in person by Special Messenger in
Washington to be in the hands of the President
of the Senate on or before the fourth Monday in
January.
(7)  Selection of messenger Oscar B. Chenoweth, to deliver
the certificate at Washington to the President
of the Senate.
(8)  Selection of a messenger from the College to deliver
the certificate to the United States Judge for the District
of Maryland, in Baltimore City.
        Certificates are all signed by the Electors and
then placed in an envelope with the following
inscription on the outside thereof:
        We, the Electors of the State of Maryland, do
hereby certify that there is contained within a
list of tall the votes given for President of the United
States and a list of all the votes given for Vice
President of the United State by said Electors on
January 12th 1925.

        With the aforegoing description the Electors signed
the envelope individually on the outside after the
certificates were sealed within with the witness by
Secretary of the Electoral College, as Secretary of the
College and the Seal of the State of Maryland
placed thereon, and delivered.
