    The said credential was accordingly prepared in due form
by the secretary and signed and sealed by the Electors,
    Whereupon the President delivered it with the (third)
other certificate to Hon. Henry Clay Dallam with the direction
to convey it with all convenient dispatch before the
first Wednesday in January next ensuing to the President
of the Senate of the United States at Washington and in the
event of there being no President of the Senate as aforesaid
for him to deposite the same safely in the office of the
Secretary of State at Washington.
                                            On motion of Roberts the
Secretary was directed to record the proceedings.
                On motion a vote of thanks was tendered the
President for the dignified and courteous manner in
which he had discharged the duties of his office and
to the officers of the College.
                                            On motion of Mr. Dallam
the College adjourned Sine die.
