590 PRINCE GEORGES COUNTY

Mr. Small made Oath to an account againts Henry Willis for Charles Treacy.

Thomas Wells Sworne for Jonatha[on] Bryar against Thomas Plumer.

Isaack Williams made Oath to an Account against Willsons Executors.

John Meryton Made Oath to an account against Mr. George Plowden.

Mr. Small and Mr. Cecell made Oath to for Willsons Executors against David
Davis Jr.

William Norris Made Oath to an account against James Moor at the suit
of Thomas Tany and uxor.

Mr. Cecell made Oath to what he knew concerneing the above account for
Moor against Tany.

John Demall made Oath in an Action for Hill and uxor agains John Chap-
man.

John Bennett made Oath in an Action for Hill and uxor against John Chap-
man.

Then did the Court adjourne for an howr and then mett and Satt.

Present, Mr. William Hutcheson, Mr. Robert Bradley, Mr. Robert Tyler,
Mr. John Hawkins, Mr. Robert Wade, Mr. Samuell Magruder, Mr. Thomas
Sprigg, Mr. James Stoddart, Commissioners.

John Norris Made Oath to an account for Trumans Administrator against
James Moore.

Marthe Wakeling Servant to Abraham Clark upon her Complaint made by
her of her Said Masters Great abuces and Exterordinary hard usages Towards
her, And it Plainely appeareing to the Court here to be True It is thereupon
ordered That the Said Marthe be Sett Free from the Said Abraham.

Whereupon it was Ordered upon a motion made by Bartholomew Goff that
the Said Martha Serve the Said Bartholomew four years from her first arivall
into the Country and that the Said Bartholomew doe his utmost Indevouring in
getting her the Said Martha Cured of her Sores.

John Demall made oath to Eight days attendance for John Hill and uxor
against John Chapman Ordered that the Said John Hill pay him for his attend-
ance 30 lbs. of Tobacco per day.

John Bennett made Oath to Eight days Attendance for John Hill and uxor
against John Chappman Ordered that the Said John Hill pay him for his
Attendance 30 lbs. of Tobacco per Day.

Mr. William Norris made Oath to 3 dayes attendance for Thomas Taney and
uxor against James Moore ordered that the Said Taney pay him for his Attend-
ance 30 lbs. of Tobacco per Day:

[497] Joseph Jackson and Company Plantiff: Richard Chaffs administrator
Defendant

Thomas Box Late of Prince Georges County Smith Administrator of all and
Singular the Goods Chatties and Creditts which ware of Richard Chaffy Late
of Prince Georges County Deceased at the time of his Decease was atteached
to answer unto Joseph Jackson and Company of London Merchants of a Plea
of Tresspass upon the Case.
