490 PRINCE GEORGES COUNTY

Present. Mr. Thomas Hollyday, Mr. Robert Bradley, Mr. Robert Wade, Mr.
John Hawkins, Mr. Samuell Magruder, Mr. Thomas Sprigg, Commissioners.

Arnold Lyvers formarly a Servant to Col. Henry Darnall by trade a Taylor,
agreeing with his Said Master to Serve him for four years in Consideration of
which Service to Receive yearly five pounds Sterling. The Said Col. Henry Darnall
came into Court and wholey Sett him Free upon this Condition that if the Said
Arnold Lyvers would relinquish the Said five pounds Sterling wages and for Six
years yet to come from the Date of these presents to Serve the Said Henry Darnall
Eight weekes yearly for Six years as aforesaid, The Said Lyvers not to be debarrd
from his Employ to worke att his trade in these 5 Counties of Maryland as (viz.)
in Prince Georges County, in Ann Arundall County, in Charles County, in Saint
Marys County and in Callvert County, but in case the Said Lyvers Shall make an
attempt to depart Farthar then the Said Counties then it is agreed and it Shall
be Lawfull for the Said Henry Darnall to apprehend him and Said Lyvers as one
that hath deserted the Service of his Said Mastar the Said Henry Darnall giveing
him the Proffitt of his worke he hath been Imployed in and hath yarned Since
the first day of March Last upon which agreement the Said Lyvers was Sett Free.

Ordered that Christopher Fisher Servant to Richard Gambra be comitted into
the Sheriffs Custody and to be hand to the Whipping poast there to Receive
twenty Lashes well Laid on, and Continue in the Custody of the Sheriffe till his
Master Send for him.

Thomas Tench Esq. Swore to an account etc.

Mr. William Barton haveing produced a Comission for High Sheriffe of
Prince Georges County and his Posse Comitatu was admitted Sheriff of the Said
County.

Benjamin Berry haveing taken the Oathes of an under Sheriffe and the other
Oathes appoynted by act of Assembly was Admitted under Sheriffe of Prince
Georges County.

Whereas Hugh Reyley being taken in Execution at the Suite of Thomas Colliar
Matthew Mackeboy came into Court and was his Security to Stay Execution till
the tenth day of October next.

Mary Dunhue Servant to Mr. Samuell Magruder made oath that one Godfrey
Barnes had begotten her with Child.

Robert Fames Servant to Roger Brookes ordered into the Sheriffs hands till
his master Shall come and redeeme him.

Robert Vender Servant to Mrs. Mary Bevins adjudged to bee thirteen years
of age and to Serve according to Law.

Robert Bellfoard Servant to Nicholas Davis adjudged to be Thirteen years of
age and to Serve according to Law.

Teage Treacy made over a Trackt of Land to Edward Fenix and Mary his wife
acknowledged the Same etc.
