[162] Att Prince Georges County Court held att Charles Towne the 22d day
of June in the ninth yeare of the Reigne of our Sovereigne Lord William the
third by the grace of God of England Scotland France and Ireland King De-
fender of the Faith etc. Annoque Domini 1697 By his Majesties Justices there-
unto Appointed and Authorized (Viz.)

Present. Mr. Thomas Hollyday, Mr. William Barton, Mr. John Wighte, Mr.

Robert Tylor, Mr. David Small, Mr. William Tanyhill, Comisoners.

Elizabeth Hill Came into open Court and binds her Sonne Richard Hill aged
Eight yeare ould in September next unto Mr. David Small to Serve him untill
he Arrives unto twenty one yeares of Age Inconsideration of which the Said
David Small doth promise to learne the Said boy to Read and write if posible
he Cann and to give to him at the Expiration of the Said time two Suits of
Cloaths the one Keirsy the other Serge with two of a Sort of other necessary
Apparrell.
