            INDEX TO THE LAWS.
 

    Provision made for recording certain wills in the register's
office,
    An act to encourage the destruction of crows,
    A board of agriculture established,
    Money to be levied for the support of Esther Jerman,
—Same, for Joseph Tilghman and his children,
—The act of 1805, ch. 8, concerning them, repealed,
    Money to be levied for the support of Joshua Butler,
    A public road to be laid out from Parker's Bay to intersect
the post road from Horn-town in Virginia, to
Snow-Hill,
    Money to be levied for making a causeway and erecting
a bridge across Pitt's Creek,
    A road to be laid out from the road that leads from
Snow Hill to Salisbury, until it intersects the road
from Mary Parker's to Salisbury,
    Money to be levied for the support of W. Clarke,
&c.
    Penalty on persons setting up booths for selling liquor
near the Methodist camp or quarterly meeting,
    An alley therein mentioned to be laid open in Snow

of his revolutionary services,) to keep ordinary,

mill, to intersect the road to Salisbury,
    Money to be levied for the support of Wealthy
Beachbord, &c.
    The road to be opened from Snow Hill to Miller's
mills to intersect a road from Dennis's mill to Nassaongo
Creek.
    Money to be levied for the support of James D. Johnson,
    The levy court empowered to sell the tobacco warehouses,
scales, &c. and directed not to meet as before
for appointing inspectors,
    Part of the ground to be laid off as a street or streets,
    A lottery authorised for purchasing a fire engine, &c.
in Salisbury,

    Commissioners appointed for for the regulation and
improvement of the town,

    The Farmers Bank of Somerset and Worcester
incorporated, &c.

    Money to be levied for the support of John Pointer,
—Same, for Cornelius Ennis, and others,
    An old road from Poplar town to Purnell's bridge,
and a branch thereof to w. Franklin's plantation, to
be a public road, &c.
