Vacancies, how to
be supplied.

                                LAWS OF MARYLAND.

    7.  AND BE IT ENACTED, That in case of death or resignation,
refusal or disqualification to act, or any of the persons chosen directors,
at any time hereafter, it shall and may be lawful for the
said other directors to meet as soon as conveniently may be thereafter,
at their place of meeting as aforesaid, and choose a person
in his stead to act as director till the next annual meeting of the
said proprietors.

An Act for the relief of Susannah Parker and her Infant Children.

Levy authorised
for their support.
    BE IT ENACTED, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That 
it shall and may be lawful for the levy court of Charles county to
assess and levy annually on the assessable property of said county,
a sum of money not exceeding fifty dollars, for the support of
Susannah Parker and her four infant children, so long as they may
see cause, as an out-pensioner, which sum shall be levied as other
county levies, and paid to the said Susannah Parker.

An Act to repeal an act,* entitled, A supplement to an act, entitled,
    An act to lay out and make public a Road in Baltimore County.

Act repealed.     BE IT ENACTED, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That 
an act, entitled, A supplement to an act, entitled, An act to lay out
and make public a road in Baltimore county, passed at the present
session, be and the same is hereby repealed.

                                            CHAP. CLV.
An Act to authorise and empower the Levy Court of Anne-Arundel
    County to assess and levy a sum of money for the persons therein
    mentioned.

Levy authorised
for certain persons.
    BE IT ENACTED, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That 
the levy court of Anne-Arundel county be and they are hereby authorised
and empowered, at their annual meeting, so long as they
may see cause so to do, to assess and levy on the assessable property
of said county, for the use of Cornelius Russel, Jacob Denoon,
Margaret Denoon and Sarah Carr, the sum of thirty dollars
to each of them; for the use of Elizabeth Hatfield, the sum of
twenty dollars; for the use of Mary Danielson the sum of forty
dollars, during the life of her idiot daughter; for the use of Edward
Spurrier the sum of forty dollars; for Sarah Nicholson the
