1872.] OF THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES. 791 a bill, entitled an Act to authorize the County Commis- sioners of Washington county, to build a Court House for said county, and to issue bonds for the payment of same, and to levy on the assessable property of said county to redeem said bonds, and provide for the interest on same. On motion, of Mr. Baldwin, Leave was granted to the Select Committee on that subject, to introduce a bill to authorize the County Commissioners of Baltimore and Harford counties, to erect a bridge at the joint expense of said counties, over the Little Gunpowder Falls at or near Joshua E. Green's. On motion of Mr. Harig, Leave was granted to Messrs. Harig, dark, of Baltimore- City and Cooper, to report a bill, authorizing the Appeal Tax Court of Baltimore City, to bear the appeal of H. R. Hazlehurst. On motion of Mr. Travers, Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to- introduce a bill, to render the salaries of all State and muni- cipal officers, and all credits in the hands of State and muni- cipal governments or the officers thereof, liable to attachment as other salaries and credits are now liable. On motion of Mr. Eareckson, Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to in- troduce a bill, to amend the law passed January Session,. 1870, chapter 434, entitled "Jurisdiction of Justices of th& Peace in cases of assault and battery." On motion of Mr. Streett, Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to introduce a bill, to repeal section 41 of Article &6 of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Licenses," sub-title('Trad- ers," passed at the January Session of 1868, and to re-enact. the same with amendments. On motion of Mr. Henkle, Leave was granted to the Committee on Pensions to report a bill, to grant pensions to Rachel Medairy, of Baltimore City and William Gardner, and Harriet Sansbury, widow of Ed- ward. Sansbury, deceased, of Anne Arundel county. On motion of Mr. Markland, Leave was granted, to Messrs. Markland, McColgan, Stew- art, Travers, Hamilton, T. H., and Jamart, to introduce a. bill, to amend and re-enact the two hundred and fifteenth |
