Which was read the first time, and referred to Messrs.
Henry, Fields and Crawford,
Also,
House bill, entitled an Act to repeal chapter 189, passed at
January Session, 1870, relating to Queen Anne's, Dorches-
ter and Somerset counties, and to reimburse the owners of
sheep killed by dogs, commonly known as the Dog Law.
Which was read the first time, and referred to Messrs.
Henry, Earle and Dennis.
Also,
House bill, entitled an Act to authorize Dr. Wm. Stewart,
guardian of John Walter, a minor, to pass his final account
with the Orphans' Court for Somerset county.
Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee
on the Judiciary.
Also,
House bill, entitled an Act to renew and amend an Act to
incorporate the Baltimore Manual Labor School for Indigent
Boys.
Which was read the first time, and referred to the Com-
mittee on Judicial Proceedings.
Also,
House bill, entitled an Act to amend an Act entitled an
Act to incorporate the President and Directors of the Mary-
land Fire Insurance Company of Baltimore, passed January
Session, 1858.
Which was read the first time, and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations
Also,
House bill, entitled an Act to incorporate the Trustees of
the Bethlehem M. E. Church South, of Taylor's Island,
Dorchester county.
Which was read the first time, and referred to the Committee on Corporations.
On motion by Mr. Jump,
The Senate proceeded to the consideration of Executive
business.
The Senate having resumed the consideration of Legisla-
tive business.
Mr. Williams, on the part of the Joint Select Committee,
appointed to destroy certain coupons, submitted the following
