1460 . JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [April 1,
The bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money to
pay the claims of Kelly, Piet & Co., and John Murphy &
Co.
Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays."
Also,
The bill entitled an Act to add an additional section to
Article XXX. of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Crimes and Punishments," to be sub-title "Seduction,"
and to he section 210, making seduction a misdemeanor,
nor, punishable in the penitentiary. A
Endorsed, "Rejected for want of a Constitutional majority."
Also,
The bill entitled an Act to repeal Article XXX. of the
Code Public General Laws, title "Crimes and Punish-
ments, " sub-title "Sabbath Breaking," so that barber-shops
shall be closed on Sunday.
Endorsed, "Lost for want of a Constitutional majority."
Also,
The bill entitled an Act to legalize the supplements to the
Maryland. Code, containing the Acts of the General Assem-
bly passed at the Sessions of 1868 and 1870, arranged in
Article! and Sections to correspond with .the Code as "pub-
lished by J. Murphy & Co.
Endorsed, "Reported unfavorably from the Committee on
Judicial Proceedings, and report adopted."
Also,
, The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the town of Belair,
in Harford county.
Endorsed, "Reported unfavorably from a Select Commit-
tee, and report adopted."

The bill entitled an Act to extend the civil jurisdiction of
Justices of the Peace for Carroll county.
Endorsed, "Reported unfavorably from the Committee on
Judicial Proceedings, and report adopted."
