successors shall proceed to sell the land and im-
provements and property herein before mentioned
at such time and in such manner as may to them
seem best for the interest of all concerned and may
convey title to the same by one of their number to
whom they may delegate authority to sell and con-
vey, as aforesaid, and who shall give bond in such
amount to the State of Maryland for the faithful
discharge of his trust as may be approved by the
Treasurer of said State.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That the Treasurer of
the said Association shall issue to said corporation
and to each individual citizen as aforesaid who has
paid, or may pay money to said Association for
the uses herein before mentioned a certificate, or
certificates, signed by himself and countersigned
by the President of said Association in the follow-
ing form ;

Certificate.

"This is to certify that ............ has paid to
the use of the Maryland Agricultural and Mechan-
ical Association the sum ............ dollars and is
entitled to a proportionate reversionary interest in
the property of said Association as provided by the
act of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed
January session, eighteen hundred and seventy;
and this certificate shall he sufficient evidence to
entitle said corporation and their successors, or
assigns and said citizens, their heirs, or assigns to
their proportionate share of the proceeds of sale
herein before provided for.

Form.

Sec. 4. And be it enacted, That all parts of the
act, to which this is a supplement, not consistent
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.

Repealed.

Sec. 5. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from and after the day of the date of
its passage.
