chute Infantry Regiment in World War II, with combat service in the European
Theater. Fanner for twenty-five years, currently operating with sons a 1,000-acre
grain farm on the Eastern Shore. Former vice-president, Denton National Bank, and
director of the bank's Farm Department. President of Rotary; vice-president, Caro-
line County Farm Bureau; leader of Tuckahoe 4-H Club; treasurer, Denton Boy
Scouts; president, Caroline High School PTA. Member, Vocational School Commit-
tee; various ASCS committees; Tri-County Crop Improvement Association. Named

Served in the U.S. Navy, 1944-1946. Member, American, Maryland State, New
