Mr. Wineland is married to the former Mary K. Flack, and has four children. He has been honored by many organizations including the Prince George's County Volunteer Firemen's Association, the Southern Prince George's Congress of Civic Associations, the Mary- land Association of Citizens' and Sportsmen which named him State Legislator of the Year in 1968, the Columbus Citizens' National League which awarded him the honorary title of Distinguished Italian American, and the Maryland Department of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Mr. Wineland is a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Asso- ciation, the Fort Washington Democratic Club, the Southern Maryland Board of Trade, the Broadneck Citizens' Association, the Farm Bu- reau, the American Legion, the Allentown Volunteer Fire Department, the Elks, Masons, Shrine, Lions' Club, Prince George's Chamber of Commerce, National Press Club, Harmony Hall P.T.A., and the Board of Trustees of the Fort Washington Methodist Church. He is a mem- ber-at-large of the National Capital Area Council, Boy Scouts of America. Mr. Wineland maintains offices in the State House in Annapolis. 14 |
