THE GREAT SEAL OF MARYLAND

The reverse of the official seal of the State of Maryland legalized
by Chapter 79, Acts of 1969 (Code 1957, 1965 Repl. Vol. 1969 Supp.,
Art. 41, sec. 74A), represents the hereditary coat of arms of Lord
Baltimore showing the arms of the Calvert and the Crossland families.
