CHAPTER 371
(House Bill 7)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 159 to 166A, inclusive, of Article
33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and
1964 Supplement), title "Elections," sub-title "House of Rep-
resentatives", and to enact in lieu thereof new Sections
159 to 166A, inclusive, to stand in the place of the sections
so repealed, revising the several congressional districts in
this state for the election of representatives in the Congress
of the United States, creating a new Eighth Congressional
District, and relating generally to the boundaries of the
several Congressional Districts in this State and to the
election of representatives to fill these offices.

Howard County:

CHAPTER 545
(Senate Bill 265)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 39 and 40 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Howard County (1957 Edition, being Article
14 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title
"Howard County" sub-title "County Commissioners and
County Collectors", Section 40 thereof having been amended
by Chapter 351 of the Acts of 1961, and to enact new Sec-
tions 39 and 40 in lieu thereof, to stand in the place of the
Sections so repealed, revising the provisions concerning the
Board of County Commissioners for Howard County, making
provision for the number of these commissions and for
their compensation, powers and duties, providing for an
Executive Commissioner and Associate Commissioners and
relating generally to the Board of County Commissioners
of Howard County, and making the provisions of this Act
subject to a referendum in the County.
