HOUSE OF DELEGATES

RUDOLPH BEHOUNEK, Democrat, Baltimore 2nd; born in Czecho-
slovakia, October II, 1893. Businessman. Former member, Port Devel-
opment Commission of Baltimore City. Married. Member of the House
of Delegates, 1939-43, 1949-62, and since 1963. Appointed to the House
of Delegates, May 14, 1963, vice Charles Panuska, resigned.

THEODORE L. BERTIER, JR., Democrat, Anne Arundel County;
born in Anne Arundel County, April 23, 1928. Attended Anne Arundel
County public schools; University of Baltimore, B.S., 1953; The Johns
Hopkins University, C.M.E., 1954. Project engineer. Served with the
U. S. Army, 1945-47. Member, Anne Arundel County Recreation Com-
mission, 1956-62. Member, American Society of Mechanical Engineers;
Anne Arundel Society of Engineers and Land Surveyors. Married.
Appointed to the House of Delegates, October 14, 1963, vice Charles
R. Brockmeyer, resigned.

MARGARET A. MURPHY, Democrat, Baltimore 6th; born in Balti-
more, June 24, 1908. Attended Baltimore parochial schools. Owner and
operator of confectionery store. Delegate to Democratic State Con-
vention, 1960. Past president, Ladies Auxiliary, 3-4-5 Democratic Club
of Morrell Park, Inc. Director, Parkway Community Improvement
Association, Inc. Member, Poplar Ridge Improvement Association of
Anne Arundel County, Inc. Secretary, The Standard Life Association.
Past president, The Maccabees Fraternal Society; The Maryland and
District of Columbia Fraternal Congress. Member, American Legion
Auxiliary; Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. Married. Appointed
to the House of Delegates, May 17, 1963, vice William J. Myers,
resigned.

GEORGE W. TINGLE, Democrat, Washington County; born in
Millsboro, Delaware, March 28, 1907. Attended Delaware public
schools. Restaurant owner. Served in U. S. Coast Guard, 1925-27.
County Commissioner, Washington County, 1960-62. Member, Elks;
Masons; Shrine; Tall Cedars of Lebanon; Fraternal Order of Police;
H.D.H. Hunting and Fishing Club; National Grange, Patrons of Hus-
bandry; Conococheague Sportsmen's Club, Inc.; Alsatia Club. Married.
Appointed to the House of Delegates, July 18, 1963, vice Joseph H.
