ELMER M. QUADE, Republican, Charles County; born in Hughes-
ville, Charles County, February 27, 1900. Attended Hughesville public
school and Charlotte Hall. Automobile dealer and funeral director.
Member of Lions Club. Sheriff of Charles County 1946-1950. Married.
Elected to the House of Delegates in 1950.

LESTER B. REED, Republican, Allegany County; born at Mt. Savage,
August 10, 1908. Attended the public schools of Allegany County,
and Catherman's Business College, Cumberland. Automotive supplies
dealer. Married. Elected to the House of Delegates in 1938.

EDWARD L. REISINGER, SR., Democrat, Baltimore 6th; born in Balti-
more, November 23, 1900. Attended public schools in Baltimore.
Machinist. Formerly employed as labor advisor. Married. Elected
to the House of Delegates in 1950.

ORLANDO RIDOUT, IV, Democrat, Anne Arundel County; born in
Anne Arundel County, August 13, 1922. Attended the public schools
of Annapolis and the University of Maryland, graduating with B.S.
degree. Dairyman. Served with the U. S. Army 1942-1946. Married.
Elected to the House of Delegates in 1950.

E. LAYTON RIGGIN, Democrat, Somerset County; born in Crisfield,
September 3, 1912. Attended the public schools of Crisfield. Sales
and advertising manager. Member of Crisfield City Council since
1946, Rotary, Masons, Elks. Member Legislative Council. Married.
Elected to the House of Delegates in 1950.

MARY E. W. RISTEAU, Democrat, Harford County; born in Towson.
Attended Towson High School and the University of Baltimore, gradu-
ating with LL.B. degree. Farmer. Member of State Board of Educa-
tion 1922-1938. Clerk of Circuit Court of Harford County 1937-1938.
Administrator of Loan Laws 1939-1943. Unmarried. Member of the
House of Delegates 1921-1933. Member of the Senate 1934-1937.
Reelected to the House of Delegates in 1950.

CLARENCE E. ROBERTSON, Democrat, Worcester County; born near
Mardela Springs, Worcester County, April 26, 1883. Attended public
school in Mardela. President of foundry and machine works. Former
member Board of Governors, Eastern Shore State Hospital. Member
Rotary, Masons. Married. Member of the House of Delegates 1935-
1943. Reelected in 1950.

JEROME ROBINSON, Democrat, Baltimore 4th; born in Baltimore,
March 31, 1911. Attended the public schools of Baltimore City, Balti-
more City College, graduating in 1927; graduated from the University
of Baltimore Law School in 1931 and admitted to the Bar in 1932.
Former Secretary to the Committee on Civics, Judiciary and Legisla-
tion, Junior Bar Association, 1937; Secretary to Commission to Study
Medico-Legal Psychiatry, 1948; member of the Charter Revision
Advisory Committee of Baltimore City 1945-1946; Chairman, Com-
mittee on Amendment of Law, Maryland State Bar Association.
Member of Legislative Council. Unmarried. Member of the House
of Delegates since 1939.

EARL I. ROSENTHAL, Democrat, Baltimore 4th; born in New York
City, February 10, 1908. Attended Baltimore public schools and the
University of Baltimore. Attorney. Member of the Maryland Bar,
Jewish Welfare Board. Served in the U. S. Army 1942-1945. Un-
married. Elected to the House of Delegates in 1950.
