FRANCIS X. DIPPEL, Democrat, Baltimore 3rd; born in Baltimore,
November 28, 1916. He attended St. Patrick's School, Calvert Hall,
the University of Maryland, graduating in 1939; attended Maryland
School of Medicine 19.39-1940; LL. B. from the University of Balti-
more 1946. An attorney engaged in active legal practice. Married.
Elected to the House of Delegates in 1938.

SIMON L. DOWNEY, Republican, Washington County. Retired
farmer. Former member Board of County Commissioners, Washing-
ton County. Unmarried. Member of the House of Delegates, 1931-
1935, 1946..

JAMES J. DUFFY, Democrat, Baltimore 1st; born in Baltimore
October 16, 1905. Employee of City of Baltimore. Member of Demo-
cratic State Central Committee. Elected to the House of Delegates
in 1946.

MAURICE F. ENSOR, SR., Democrat, Baltimore County; born at
Phoenix, Maryland, November 7, 1897.. He attended the public
schools of Baltimore County. Traveling mechanic for the Standard
Oil Company. Served with the United States Navy and U. S. Naval
Reserve during and after the first World War. Constable, Pikesville,
for four years. Married. Elected to the House of Delegates in 1946.

JOHN T. FEY, Republican, Allegany County; born at Cumberland,
March 10, 1917. He attended the public schools of Cumberland, Wash-
ington and Lee University, and the University of Maryland Law
School, graduating in 1940. He has also attended the Graduate School
of Harvard University. Attorney; admitted to the Bar in 1940.
Served with the U. S. Marine Corps, amphibious corps during World
"War II. County Attorney, Allegany County 1948-49; Assoc. Prof. of
Law George Washington University. Married. Elected to the House
of Delegates in 1946.

WILLIAM H. GEPPERT, Republican, Allegany County; born at Clarks-
burg, West Virginia, April 22, 1912. Attended the public schools of
Clarksburg and the University of West Virginia, graduating in 1935.
Attorney. Served with the Naval Intelligence Service as a Lieutenant
from 1941-1943, and from that date to 1945 with the Naval Amphib-
ious forces in the Pacific with the rank of Lieutenant Commander.
Trial Magistrate, 1938-1939. Chairman, Naval Advisory Committee,
Allegany County. Married. Elected to the House of Delegates in 1946.

LEO C. GERAGHTY, Democrat, Baltimore 5th; born in Baltimore,
July 15, 1894; attended the parochial and public schools of Baltimore,
Baltimore City College, The Johns Hopkins University, and the Uni-
versity of Baltimore. Admitted to the Bar in 1930. Lawyer. Member
of U. S. Army Motor Transport Service, 1917-1918. Married. Mem-
ber of the House of Delegates 1935-1939, 1946..

CHARLES C. GRIFFIN, Democrat, Baltimore 6th; born in Baltimore,
July 17, 1898. Attended the public schools of Baltimore. Steamfitter.
Chief Committee Clerk, Baltimore City Council, 1947. Married. Ap-
pointed to the House of Delegates in 1939.

OLIVER ROBERT GUYTHER, Democrat, St, Mary's County; born at
Mechanicsville, May 13, 1922. Attended elementary school at Me-
•chanicsville, Charlotte Hall Military Academy and the University of
Maryland, graduating in 1942. Presently a student at the University
of Maryland Law School. Served with the U. S. Navy, 7th Fleet, as
