8 George 3.--A. D. 1768.

CHAP. 22.  An act for the more easy and effectual recovery of the penalties and
    forfeitures inflicted by the acts of parliament, relating to the trade or revenues of
    the British colonies and plantations in America.

    These penalties were to be recovered in the Vice Admiralty courts having jurisdiction in the said
colonies and plantations.
 

9 George 3.--A. D. 1769.

CHAP. 28.  An act to permit the inhabitants of Jersey and Guernsey, to export directly
    from thence to Newfoundland, or the British colonies in America, goods
    necessary for the fishery, &c.

    The statute was, of course, to have its operation in the colonies.

CHAP. 38.  An act for further encouraging the growth and culture of raw silk in his
majesty's colonies or plantations in America.

    See the note above.

CHAP. 39.  An act to prevent the free importation of certain raw hides and skins
from Ireland, and the British plantations in America.

    Same as to part of this statute.
 

11 George 3.--A. D. 1771.

CHAP. 41.  An act to explain an act, made in the reign of his late majesty, king
    George the first, entitled, An act giving further encouragement for the importation

    of naval stores, and for other purposes therein mentioned, &c.

    The statute of 8 George 1, Ch. 12, was herein explained.
 

12 George 3.--A. D. 1772.

CHAP. 7.  An act for explaining and amending an act made in the seventh year of
his present majesty, &c.

    The statute 7 George 3, Ch. 56, hereby explained and amended.

CHAP. 20.  An act for the more effectual proceeding against persons standing
mute on their arraignment for felony or piracy.

    The 2d section directed that the provisions should extend to his majesty's colonies and plantations
in America; but I do not find any prosecutions under this statute, or shewing that it was used, &c.
