Mr. Rose, Chairman of a select committee, reported
favorably

A bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act passed February,
1860, chapter 110, entitled an Act to incorporate the Presi-
dent and Directors of the Dover Bridge Company, and to
repeal an Act passed March, 1865, chapter 128, entitled an
Act to exempt the inhabitants of Caroline county from to^s
for the use and crossing of Dover Bridge, across the Chop-
tank River, and to require the County Commissioners of
Caroline county to pay annually, a sum of money to keep
said bridge in repair, and to enact the following in lien
thereof.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Clark, Chairman of a select committee, reported
favorably

A bill entitled an Act to authorize the opening of a public
road in Howard and Montgomery counties.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Richards, Chairman of a select committee, reported
favorably

A bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower the Presi-
dent and Directors of the Maryland Insane Asylum to convey
certain land to the Maryland Inebriate Asylum, for the uses
of said institution.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Chaisty, Chairman of a select committee, reported
favorably

A bill entitled an Act to add additional sections to the
4th Article of the Code of Public Local Laws, relating to
the streets, lanes and alleys in the city of Baltimore, and
the paving and repairing, and changing the grade of streets,
lanes and alleys in said city.
