tied an Act to incorporate the Maryland and Delaware Rail
Road Company, passed at January session, 1854, chap-
ter 274.

Endorsed, " Passed by yeas and nays."

Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the Comptroller of
the Treasury to adjust and settle the claims of the State
Attorneys in the several counties and city of Baltimore, for
certain fees due by the State.

Endorsed, " Passed by yeas and nays."

On motion by Mr. Malone,
The Senate adjourned until Monday morning, at 9 o'clock.

MONDAY, March 30,1868.

At 9 A. M. the Senate met pursuant to adjournment.
Prayer by the Rev. Mr. Hammond.
Present at roll call

Messrs. President, Browne, Biggs, Brewer, Clarke, Earle,
Fields, Henkle, Hyland, Hammond, Kimmel, Lee, Miller,
Malone, Spates, Smith, Walsh, Welch—18.

On motion by Mr. Clarke, it was

Ordered, That no member shall speak longer than five
minutes on any subject.

On motion by Mr. Hyland, it was

Ordered, That the per diem of one member of the Senate,
$450, be divided equally amongst the chaplains of the Senate
as compensation for their services.

House bill entitled an Act to add an additional section to
Article 96 of the Code of Public General Laws, regulating
the charges on grain,

Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as
follows:
