Brewer, Miller, Earle, Parker, of Calvert, Hyland, Smith, Hammond, Welch—8. Mr. Earle offered the following report : Gentlemen of the Senate : The committee of conference of the two Houses, on the Senate bill entitled an Act to add new sections to Article 16, of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled Chancery, under sub-title Infants, relating to the sales of the real estate of in- fants, report that they have had the same under considera- tion, and recommend for adoption the following action: Strike out all from the commencement of line 4 to the end of line 21, and amend the next line numbered No. 1, by insert- ing before the end wherever the figures 5, and to amend also the title by striking out the word sections, and inserting in the place thereof, the word section. Which was read and adopted by yeas and nays as follows : AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. Browne, Hammond, Biggs, Kimmel, Brewer, Lee, Clark, Maddox, Carroll, Parker, of Calvert, Earle, Spates, Fields, Snyder, Henkle, Smith, Hyland, Welch—18. NEGATIVE—-None. : And said vote determined the passage of the bill. The Clerk of the House of Delegates returned Senate bill entitled an Act to aid in the establishment of a Hospital in connection with the Washington University of Baltimore, and to appropriate money for the same, With proposed amendments, viz. : |
