LAWS OF MARYLAND.— 1826.

Clerks of
county
courts, and
Baltimore
city court.

For making out abstracts or summary statements of the
levy lists to be set up in the several election districts, for
every ten words or figures of the original abstract, and so
pro rata,

And for every copy of such abstract or summary statement

 
 

required by law, and also for copies of the original levy

 
 

lists for the collectors, and to be transmitted to the exe-

 
 

cutive, and both branches of the legislature, for every ten

 
 

words or figures of each, and so pro rata,

For copies or abstracts of the levy, assessment or property

 
 

lists, for the collectors of the county and state taxes, and

 
 

for the duplicates thereof, to be retained and kept in the

 
 

office, for every ten words or figures of each, and so

 
 

pro rata,

For assisting in laying and apportioning the county or city

 
 

levy, and for all other services as clerk, to be done and

 
 

performed for their respective counties, or the city of

 
 

Baltimore, as the case may be, annually, and by order

 
 

of the justices of the several levy courts, for time being,

 
 

such further compensation and satisfaction as the said

 
 

levy courts respectively, may in their judgments consider

 
 

reasonable and just to allow, at the time of assessing the

 
 

county or city levy, in each and every year.

 
 

For transcribing or making out dockets of suits, actions or

 
 

prosecutions, civil, criminal or equitable, with proper

 
 

alphabets thereto, at the several terms, for the use of the

 
 

county or city courts respectively, to be charged to the

 
 

respective counties, or the city of Baltimore, as the case

 
 

may be, and also for attorneys or sheriffs, when required,

 
 

to be paid for by the persons requiring the same, for

 
 

every ten words or figures thereof, and so pro rata,

docket, deposited and filed in the clerk's office, as directed

 
 

by law, including search and certificate, without seal,
