The following communication, which had been received
from His Excellency, Governor Swann, was read :

To THE SENATE:

Gentlemen:

1 nominate for your advice and consent William Twilley,
of Worcester county, as County Commissioner of said county,
vice William J. S. Clarke, resigned;

And George Saylor, of Frederick county, as Justice of the
Peace for the 11th Election District.of said county, vice
George W. Shank, removed from the State.
