The Senate bill entitled, an Act to apportion and divide
the fees and charges received and expenses incurred by the
several State Guagers of Casks and Inspectors of domestic
distilled liquors in Baltimore city in equal proportions among
the said officers,
Being upon a second reading,
Mr. Nicolai moved to strike out the enacting clause,
Which was decided in the negative.
The bill was then read a third time and rejected by yeas
