Governor, with consent of Senate, appoints one for two years from
first Monday in March. (Ch. 9—1908.)
The State Tobacco Inspector shall have charge of all the tobacco ware-
houses in Baltimore and all the tobacco, books, furniture belongings
thereto, and shall receipt to his predecessor for same, and deliver same to
his successor taking a receipt therefor. He shall personally or by a
sampler or samplers inspect all tobacco in said warehouses. He shall
make a quarterly report to the Comptroller of the receipts and disburse-
ments of each of the warehouses. He shall make certain specified charges. .
for reconditioning and repacking stayed tobacco.
