Justices of the peace for Somerset County sheweth that whereas your petioner is fined for not attending as a grand Jury man humbly craves that your your worps would be pleased to remitt your petioners fine, And your petioner as in duty bound shall ever pray. Petion granted . - -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----- The humble Petion of Samuel: Horsey To their Maties Justices of the Peace of Somerset County sheweth That whereas your Petioner had a Servant wench which had a Basterd Child by a Nigro ----- which Child your worps ordered for the keeping, One thousand two hundred pounds of (tobacco) or the Child, which was left to your Petioners choice so your petioner craves Order for the (Said) Child that he may have it according to law a Servant & yr petioner shall ever pray Petion Quasht To the worll.their Maties Justices of the peace for Somerset County.The humble petion of John:Taylor (sheweth) that whereas your petioner is by your worps Order bound to the good behaviour with two ------- and bound to appear every Court which is a very great losse, so your petioner Craves your --- be pleased to releive your petioner, and as bound your petioner shall every pray.
