Know all men by these presents
Be it known to all men that I Walter Mackhenery doth Assign to Teague Riggin
my interest of this within written Bill as wittness my hand the last day of July
1688.

Maryland Know all men by these prsents that wee Thomas Halson and Walter: Mackhenrick of Somrset
County in the Province of Maryland Planters are holden and firmly bound unto Wm. Tisdale of the
same

County and Province of Maryland Planter in the just Sum or quantity of two thousand pounds of good sound
Merch
leafe tobacco & Caske to contein the same, due to be paid to the sd Wm: Tisdale his Heirs, Execcutors Admrs or
Assigns to the which payment well and truly to be made and done, we bind our Selves and either of us Our Heirs
Execcutors Admrs and Assigns firmly by these presents, In wittness whereof wee have here unto put our hands &
affixed
our Seals this two and twentieth day of ffebruary Anno Domini 1687

The Condition of this Obligation is such that if the above bounden Thomas Halson his Heirs Execcutors
Admrs Assigns do on or before the first day of December next ensueing the date hereof by an Indenture
to ye
purpose well and Suffitiently alienate feife and Confirme unto the above named Wm: Tisdale his Heirs
Heirs Execcutors Admrs or Assigns One hundred Acres of Land being a part of five hundred Acres of
Land
lying in Nanticoke in Somerset County, in the Province of Maryland, called Liverpoole and near the sd
River It
being laid out and Surveyed for the sd Thomas Halson and bounded as by the patent for the same,
Recourse there
unto being had more fully and at large it doth and may appear This said hundred Acres of Land to
begin at A
marked Pine being the bounder tree between the sd land of Cornelius Johnson and the land of the sd
Thomas Halson
and so to run thirty pearches North west on the sd River of Nanticoke for the breath of it, And five
hundred thirty
three pearches and one third of a perch up into the woods South East, and So proportiable the other
lines And the
same hundred Acres of Land to be discharged from all arrears of Rent untill that day and all other
incumbrances
Then this Obligation to be voyd and of none effect, Otherwayes to stand remain and abide in full force
power and
virtue. his

sd, am holden and firmly bounded unto ffrancis Jenkins of the County aforesd Gentl in the full and just
Sum
or Quantity of Eleaven thousand One hundred fourty three Pounds of good sound Merchantable bright
and
large tobacco in Caske to be paid upon demand at some one Convenient Towne in the County aforesd it being for
a valuable Consideration in hand already to the true performance whereof I bind my Selfe my heirs Execcutors
and
Admrs firmly by these presents to the sd ffrancis, his Heirs Execcutors Admrs Assigns or lawfull Attorney in the
penalle
of twenty two thousand two hundred Eighty Six pounds of like tobacco in Wittness whereof I have hereunto Sett
my
