to have recorded that I did attend the Committee meeting
of Personal, the Committee on Personal Rights and The
Preamble, and as a result of our very lively and congenial
session, that the members of that very fine Committee don't
appear to wear horns any longer. We had a very fine ses-
sion, and I just felt that this should be recorded in the
light of the statement that was made by Chairman Kiefer
yesterday.

DELEGATE MITCHELL: Mr. Chairman, on Monday of
this week, there came a letter from an eighth grade pupil
to the Convention. A very gracious letter went to the
writer from the Chief Clerk's office, as a result of
which this eighth grader was excused from her classes today.
She got another pupil to come with her, and they are our
guests, observing our Convention activities. 1 have
explained to Miss Rochelle Woodland, the writer of the
letter, and to her friend, Miss Denise Lewis, that much
of the constructive work we shall do here will benefit
her and her generation most; but in addition, I have |
