So the question upon its adoption was decided in the
affirmative.

The question then recurring upon the motion submitted
by Mr. Hollyday,

It was decided in the affirmative.

Mr. Hollyday moved to amend the report by striking out
the word "one, " after the word "Kent, " in the eighteenth
line, and insert the word "two; "

The question being on the adoption of the amendment,
Mr. Cushing demanded the yeas and nays,
The demand being sustained,
