(8.) The venders or dealers in wood and coal who pay no
traders' license. This does not apply to growers of wood, or
occasional sales of wood brought from the country, to be sold
from cart or wagon.

(9.) All express companies, and all life and fire insurance
companies which have offices and agents in Cambridge, the
agent to be bound to pay for the license, and the Commission-
ers to be entitled to compel the agent to take out the license
by fines and forfeitures. The same agent may act for fire and
life insurance companies on one license.

(10.) The solicitors of life insurance companies, who go from
house to house or from place to place in the town in the
service of any company.

(n.) The proprietors and managers of theatres who provide
a house or building- for performances. A yearly license may
be required in any such case, and such license will entitle such
proprietors to have as many performances therein as he pleases;
provided that no performance shall be allowed on Sunday.

(12.) The proprietors of circuses.

(13.) The promoters of any theatrical performance, troupe or
company, and the proprietors of any exhibitioner other public
entertainments who charge an admission. These may be
required to procure a license for each performance, exhibition
or entertainment; provided, that such license shall not be
required in cases where the exhibitions, entertainments or
performances occur in a licensed house or theatre.

(14.) The owners or promoters of merry-go-rounds or flying
horses.

(15.) All keepers or owners of bowling alleys, bowling
saloons, billiard saloons, bagatelle saloons, and all pool -rooms
or tables, whether kept or used by corporations, incorporated
associations, firms or individuals. If such party takes out a
State license he shall not be required to take out a town
license.

(16.) All persons who keep, own any dray, cart or wagon
or other vehicles for the transportation in the town of goods,
merchandise or other personal chattels and effects, for hire,
or for which compensation is charged.

other vehicle for carrying passengers in the said town; pro-
vided, that no proprietor of any livery stable who pays a
license to the town as proprietor thereof shall require any
