House bill entitled "An Act to incorporate the Chesa-
peake Insurance Company."

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED

Strike out all after the word "to” on line 8, on page 2,
and insert in lieu thereof the following, "and certainly
paid in."
Strike out all after section 5.
Make section 6 section 5.
Make section 7 section 6.
Make section 8 section 7.
Which proposed amendment were adopted, and
The bill was read the second time.
Mr. Bouic, from Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported
House bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 15 of
Article 16 of the Code of Public General Laws, as
amended by chapter 472 of the Acts of 1898, and to re-
enact the same with amendments."
On motion of Mr. Putzel,
Said bill was made the Special Order of the Day for
Friday, March 30th, at 12.45 P. M.
Also, unfavorably,
House bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 232, of
Article 27, of the Code of Public General Laws, titled
‘Crimes and Punishments,' sub-title ‘Rape,' and re-enact
the same with amendment."
Which unfavorable report was adopted.
On motion of Mr. Applegarth,
The Senate reconsidered its action in adopting the un-
favorable report upon said bill.

Mr. Applegarth moved to substitute the bill for the
unfavorable report.

Which motion was rejected by yeas and nays as fol-
lows:
