Laws, title ' Harford County, ' sub-title ' Taxes, ' as enact-
ed by the Act of 1898, chapter 204, and to re-enact the
same with amendments. "

Which was read a second time, and ordered engross-
ed for a third reading.

House bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 5, of Ar-
ticle 27, of the Code of Public General Laws, title 'Crimes
and Punishments, ' sub-title 'Adultery, ' and re-enact the
same with amendments. "

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Strike out all of section 1, after the word "dollars, " in
line 15.

Which was adopted.

The bill, as amended, was then read a second time and
ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.

House bill entitled "An Act to authorize the County
School Commissioners of Dorchester county, to establish
a High School in the town of Hurlock, in said county,
and to provide for an annual appropriation to be made
by the State of a sum of money to aid in the support and
maintainence thereof. ".

Which was read a second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.

House bill entitled "An Act to extend the privileges'
enlarge the powers and amend the charter of the George
W. Albaugh Real Estate and Brokerage Company, of
Carroll county, Maryland, so as to enable it to loan
money on or purchase promissory notes, bills obligatory,
or other evidences of debt. "

Which was read a second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.

ORDER OF THE DAY.

The hour of 1 P. M. having arrived, the House consid-
ered the Order of the Day, being the amendment pro-
posed by Mr. Satterfield to
