36 Selfe Sr: I have kept the ballance of yorr: former accot: sent pr
my barque tryall wch: is 14lb: 13s: 8D as pr that Accot: I Shoulld
not have taken it at present but Sent you the full returnes
of all you Sent had I not had more then ordinary occasion
at pr:sent which I doe almost presume you will not take
unkindly Sr: I understand that the negroe was not Disposed of
when the vessell Came away I have therefore given order to
Stephen Bond to Dispose of her because he is as much Con
cernd in her as my Selfe to Dispose of her for there is accots:
betweene him and me and I woulld willingly have them
Cleared therefore have ordered him if ready pay be not to be
had in virga: to bring her home and wee Cann Sell her heare
for ready money but if incase Stephen Cannot Dispose of her
for ready pay and you have A mind to the negro and can prduce
but halfe the pay in hand and give him yor: bill for the rest
next year she Shall not be brought home you may keepe
her any other order to the Contrary notwithstanding, the plantacon
I woulld willingly have Sold because I woulld Cleare my Selfe
of haveing any thing further to Doe with Stephen, I Shoulld therefore
intreate you if you know of A Chapman that is able to make
good pay the next year that you woulld advise Stephen of it that
he may treat with him, I thought to have Seene you my Selfe
this turne but I finde my Selfe as yett unfitt for the seas and
the spring now Comeing on I hope I may use some meanes to
