The examinacon of Poccahandum an Indian taken before us

Capta: Wm: Colebourne Justices

Upon the Inquisicon taken on the 11th: day of octr: 1672 at
mattapenny at the SeaSide in Sommersett County before Wm:
Stevens then and there Corroner Poccahandum being Sent
for by A Interpreter Did appeare with some of the great
men, And upon examinacon did Confesse the substance
of what is Contained in John Devorex Deposicon taken at
the time of the abovesaid Inquisicon whereupon the said
Poccahandum is Committed to the sherriffe of sommersett
County to be brought before his Lopps: Justices at the next
Provinciall Court ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
John Devorex Acknowledges himselfe to be
Indebted to the Rt: honble: the Lord Proprietary
Twenty pounds Sterl: if he Shall not appeare
at the next Provinciall Cort: before his Lopps:
Justices there to give in Evidence Against
Poccahandum that is found by Inquisicon to
have killed John Perke ~ ~ ~
