Robert Cattlin Senr: deft: of the Case the board

Sommersett Ss: Robert Cattlin Senr: Late of this County was attached
to answer Thomas Manove in an accon of the
Case &c.
And whereupon the said Thomas Manlove for himselfe Saith
That in the XXXvith: year of the Dominion of the Rt: honble:
About the mo: of July
Caecilius &c Annoq Domini one thousand six hundred sixty
eight he the said Robert Cattlin Did assume and promise
to pay or Cause to be paid at the fall next ensueing to the said
Thomas Manlove ffoure Drest Does Skinns being for A
valuable Consideracon in hand paid But he the said
Robert Cattlin Little regarding his promise and assumpcon
made to him the said Thomas doth Deny and Still doth to pay
the said ffoure Does Skins allthough often Demanded the plt:
saith he is Dampnified and hath Damadge to the vallue of
ffoure Hundred pounds of tobacco And thereupon
brings his Sute &c. ; / ;
