71 The Same day Commrs: as afore
Lewin Denwood Aged About twenty three
yeare Sworne Saith
As his Brother Thomas Browne and my Selfe were att
mr: ffoxcroftes house he asked Thomas Browne to Lend
him his horsse harry one month to plowe and hee told
him he Coulld not lend him that horsse for he was In-
Continuall use Thomas Browne told him he had A horse
he woulld Lend him A month to plow and the said ffoxcroft
Sent A men that had Lost his fingers for the said horse
and my Selfe did helpe with the said ffoxcrofts man to
to take the horsse out of the feild and further saith not

The Same Day Commrs: as afore:
The Courte adjournes untill to morrow morning eight
of the Clock & orders that what Commrs: that are now
present that doth not appeare to morrow morning by
eight of the Clock each Commr makeing default herein
Shall be fined one hundred pounds of tobacco ~ ~

The Cort: being called its ordered that mr: William Stevens
& mr: Charles Ballard doe pay one hundred pounds of tobacco
a peece for not appearing this morning by eight of the Clock
according to an order past yesterday before the adjournment
