The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning.

Tuesday 2d. February 1790

The Council met.

Present the Hon'ble. John Kilty

James Brice

John Davidson

Randolph B. Latimer Esquires

Thomas Marshall was appointed a Commissioner of the tax for Calvert County, in the
room of Daniel Rawlings, deceased.

Ordered that the western Shore Treasurer pay to John Kilty Esquire Fifty pounds for one
quarters Salary as a Member of the Council.

That the said Treasurer pay to James Brice Esquire fifty pounds for one quarters Salary
as a Member of the Council,

That the said Treasurer pay to John Davidson Fifty pounds for one quarter's Salary as a
Member of the Council,

That the said Treasurer pay to Randolph Brandt Latimer Esqr. Fifty pounds for one
quarter's Salary as a Member of the Council,

That the said Treasurer pay to Frederick Green ninety three pounds, fifteen Shillings for
one quarter's Salary as Printer to the State due the 1st. instant.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning.

Wednesday 3d. February 1790

The Council met.

Rand. B. Latimer Esquires

[p. 145] Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Jub Fowler Eighteen pounds,
fifteen shillings for one quarter's salary as Messenger of the Council and Keeper of the Stadt
house, due the 1st. instant and also the further sum of Six pounds, nine shillings and three pence
due him per Account passed by the Auditor General,

That the said Treasurer pay to Robert Denny Eighteen pounds, fifteen Shillings for one
Month and 24 days Salary as Deputy Auditor, to the 25th. December last, and also the further
Sum of Twenty pounds as Auditor General to the 1st. instant per Account Stated.

Commissions issued to the following persons appointed Inspectors of Somerset County:

William Stewart and George Day Scott .. of ..... .Green hill Warehouse

Benjamin Venables ............. .Barren Creek

Jesse King and Zadock Long ............ Princess Anne

Isaac Bozman and James Waters .......... Maddux's

John Horsey, of Smith, and Isaac Dixon ........ Coulbourns Creek

John Purkens and Benjamin Schoolfield ....... .Rehoboth.
