Tuesday 15th. June 1790

The Council met.

Present his Excellency John Eager Howard Esquire

The Hon'ble. John Kilty

James Brice

John Davidson

William Hindman

Randolph B. Latimer Esquires

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to William Hindman Esquire, Fifty
pounds for one quarter's Salary as a Member of the Council due the 1st. of May last.
The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning.

Wednesday 16th. June 1790

The Council met.
Present as on Yesterday.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Samuel Chase Esquire Thirty five
pounds Current Money the same being allowed him by this Board in compensation for his
assistance rendered to the Attorney General in defence of the State's claim to duties, the
payment of which was contested by a number of Merchants.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning.

[p. 181] Thursday 17th. June 1790

The Council met.

A Bond being produced to the Board executed by John Green and Daniel Sheredine of
Caecil County for the Sum of £67:16:8 dated 3 June 1790 is approved of and it is ordered
that the said Bond be delivered to the Treasurer of the western shore and that the bond in
the Treasury, executed by the said John Green with John Crookshanks his Security for the
like Sum be cancelled. The Bond delivered by Mr. Fowler to the Treasurer.

Indulgence granted to Arthur Alexander and James Milligan of Cascil County agreeably
to the Act respecting the Debtors and Creditors of this State &ca, they having transmitted
their writing of Consent properly attested to accept the indulgence offered by the said Act,
which is ordered to be delivered to the Treasurer aforesaid—Writing of Consent delivered to
the Treasurer by the Clerk.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning.

Friday 18th. June 1790
