Brookes, Rinaldo Johnson, Robert Bowie, Richard Cramphin,
Thomas Gantt, Erasmus Gantt, Doctr. Thomas Marshall, Doctr.
William Baker, Richard Lowndes, Thomas Duckett and Barruch
Duckett appointed Justices of the County Court and

David Craufurd, Fielder Bowie, Frank Leeke, Samuel Hepburn,
John Smith Brookes, Rinaldo Johnson and Robert Bowie appointed
Justices of the Orphans Court of Prince George's County.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning.

Tuesday 23d. December 1788

The Council met.

Present as on yesterday.

The Petition of William Green of Charles County, praying a Re-
mission of a fine of twenty five shillings imposed by the Court of said
County, was read and Rejected.

The Petition of Alexander McKim of Baltimore town, is dis-
missed, the Board being of Opinion that they had no right to inter-
fere with any fine or forfeiture incurred in the Court of Admiralty,
[p 17] Commissions issued to Nicholas Worthington, Elijah
Roboson, Samuel Harrison, Allen Quynn, Samuel Harrison of
