late Lieut. Rignal Hilleary, Fifteen pounds for three Months half

pay due the 8th. of March last.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning 11 o'clock.

Present as on Yesterday.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning 11 o'clock.

Friday 18th. May 1787

The Council met.

Present His Excellency William Smallwood Esquire.

The Hon'ble. James Brice, James Hindman

John Kilty and John Davidson Esquires.

[P 233] Ordered that the Western Shore Treasurer pay to Ed-
ward Justice Three pounds specie agreeably to the "Act to adjust
the Debts due from this State" per Account passed by the Deputy
Auditor.

That the said Treasurer pay to Capt. William Handy Ten pounds
fourteen shillings specie agreeably to the Act aforesaid per Account
passed by the Dep'y. Aud'r.

That the said Treasurer pay to Daniel of St. Thomas Jenifer
Esquire Thirty seven pounds, ten shillings for three Months rent of
his House occupied by the Governor and Council and the Auditor
General due him the 12th. August last agreeably to Contract with
this Board; Thirty seven pounds, ten shillings for three Months
house rent as aforesaid due the 12th. of November last; Thirty seven
pounds, ten shillings for three Months house rent as aforesaid due
the 12th. of February last and also Thirty seven pounds, ten shillings
for three Months house rent as aforesaid due the 12th. Instant.

Commissions issued to the following Persons appointed Inspectors.

Green Hill William Stewart

Princess Anne Jesse King

Maddux Daniel Maddux

Annamessex John Horsey

Rehoboth John Purkins
