Saturday 6th. May 1786

His Excellency William Smallwood Esquire.

The Honorable Samuel Turbutt Wright

William Paca Esquires attended.

Monday 8th. May 1786

The Council met.

Present the Honorable James Brice, John Kilty and

William Paca Esquires.

Ordered That the Western Shore Treasurer pay to Clement Holly-
day, Nathaniel Ramsey and Gabriel Duvall Esqrs. Comm'rs. of
Confiscated British Property One thousand Pounds on account.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning 11 o'clock.

[p 127] Tuesday 9th. May 1786

The Council met.

Present as on Yesterday.

Ordered That the Western Shore Treasurer pay to Rinaldo John-
son Three hundred and Eighty two pounds, nine and ten pence specie
agreeably to the "Act to adjust the Debts due from this State" per
Account of Certificates liquidated to the 1st. Instant.

His Excellency William Smallwood Esqr. attended.

The Council adjourned till tomorrow morning 11 o'clock.

Wednesday 10th. May 1786

The Council met.

Present as on Yesterday.

Ordered That the Western Shore Treasurer pay to Robert Hanson
Harrison Esquire Three hundred pounds Current Money for a half
year's Salary due him as Chief Judge of the General Court to the 1st.
Instant.

That the said Treasurer pay to Randolph B. Latimer Two pounds
one shilling and six pence current Money due him per Acct. passed
by the Aud. G'l.

That the said Treasurer pay to Samuel Ijams Seven pounds nine-
teen shillings specie agreeably to the "Act to adjust the Debts due
from this State" per Account passed by the Aud'r. General.

Commissions issued to the following Persons appointed Inspectors
for

Charles County

Piles's Warehouse Zachariah Chunn and John Nathan Smoot
Cedar Point Levi Chunn
