Miles Grey late of Somrsett County planter was At- tached to answere unto James Lewis of a plea of tres- pas upon the case

And whereupon the said James by Robert Ridgely
his Attorny complaineth, that whereas the said James haueing one
guelding of the price of two thousand pounds of tobacco in the
possession of the said Miles in Sonfsett County aforesaid, And
also haveing six hundred & ninety pounds of beefe & ninety five
pounds of porke & foure barrels & halfe of Indian Come att the
house of Randall Revell in Som^rsett County aforesaid, And the
said James liveing & resideing in S^t Maryes County aforesaid, &
being desirous to pcure the said horse beefe porke & corne to be trans-
ported out of Som^rsett County aforesaid to his own house in
S^t Maryes County aforesaid, & haveing certaine communication with
