Mess.^rs J Hall and Tolley attend with M.^r Aquila Hall a Member
elected for Baltimore County, to see him Qualified, who takes the
Oaths to the Government appointed to be taken by Act of Assembly,
repeats and Subscribes the Abjuration and Test, and then withdraws.

Read the second Time in this House the Bill entitled "An Act
to aid and make valid in Law the several Acts therein mentioned,"
and will not Pass, so Endorsed and sent to the Lower House by
Daniel of Saint Thomas Jenifer Esquire.

Read and referred to the Consideration of the Lower House of
Assembly the Petition of sundry Inhabitants of Saint Marys County,
praying that an Alms and Work House may be erected in said
County. The Petition of the Rector Vestrymen and Church wardens
of S^t Michaels Parish in Talbot and Queen Anns Counties praying
the Erection of a Chapel of Ease, and the Petition of Mess.^rs John
M^cClure, John Boyd, Nathaniel Smith and Robert Henderson. These
Petitions were severally Endorsed and sent to the Lower House by
John Ridout Esq

Adjourned until Three of the Clock in the Afternoon.

revive and aid the Proceedings of Cecil County Court"
