Charles County Court Proceedings, 1671—16 74. 415 west a lyne drawne Northeast from the said Pickickory into the Liber E woods for the length of three hundred & twenty perches to a bounded oake on the east wth a lyne drawne South east from the end of the former lyne, for the length of one hundred perches to a bounded oake tht intersects a paralell lyne drawne from the exterior part of the Land formerly layd out for John Delehap now in the possession of John Ashbrooke on the South wth the said land and paralell containeing and now laid out for one hundred and fifety acres more or less and now in the possession of John Boyden together wth all and Singular it's rights membrs Jurisdiccons and appurtenances and allso all houses Edifices buildings Gardens orchards yards & appurtenances wtsoever To have & to hold the Same to him the Boyden his heyres Executrs Admrs and assignes forever and I the [fol. 80] Said Tho: Ashbrooke doe for my Sel fe my heyres Executrs Adminrs & Assigns Covenant promise grant and agree to and wth the Said Boyden his heyres Executrs Adminrs & assignes that he the said Boyden his heyres Executrs Adminrs & assignes Shall & may by force & virtue of these prsents from tyme to tyme & at all tymes hereafter Have hold occupie possess and enjoy the before granted parcell of land together with all deeds writeings Charters maniscipts or edifices thereunton errected and all Singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaineing and have receive the Rents the rents Issues and proffitts thereof to his & theyre owne proper use & behoofe wthout any lett eviccon interrupcon or demand of or by the Said Thomas Ashbrooke his heyres Executrs Admrs or As- signes or any or either of thm or of or by any other pson or psons wtsoever the Rents & Services wch from henceforth from tyme to tyme and at all tymes Shall become due to the cheife Lord or Lords of the fee or fees for or in respect of his or theyre Seignorye or Seignoryes onely excepted and foreprized, In wittness whereof the partyes have Sett theyre hands & Seales the day & yeare first above- said Thomas Ashbrooke (Sigilli Testibus George Langham Locus) Ralph Coates Lettis Ashbrooke (loc Sig) In a certaine matter of differences depending betweene Samuell Cressy plantiffe & Fra: Kilborne and Eliza: his wife Defendts the Defendts not haveing tymely notice craved a reference to all accons and whereupon the Court granted his request John Waters confesseth Judgmt unto Edmond Lyndsy for the Sume of Six hundred and twelve hundred pounds of tobacco In a certaine matter of difference depending Betweene Roger Dikison plantiffe and John Waters Defendt: The plantiffe declares agt the Deft |
